Long Weekend w/ Dove

Had the best weekend ever! Catching up with friends, staying at Dove's, playing scrabble, drinking beer, drinking coffee, playing Chiptune, playing powerviolence, The Great Depression, Mario Kart, making new friends, .... it was awesome.

I miss my friends in Christchurch (+ Melbourne) a lot, can't wait to catch up with them again.

So I left Christchurch a few weeks ago for work. I have a cheap flat in Mount Eden, I have made a partition in the lounge which separates my room from the rest of the living area. Auckland is exiting and really hot, I've had a great time so far. I'm especially thankful that Nick is here we have been inseparable best friends. Also met some anarchists who are into folk punk, especially Andrew Jackson Jihad, and we went busking on Queen St.

So Teke and I used to make music every Sunday, we started this project called 'First Day at My New School' it was quite twee. Teke asked if I wanted to make a bandcamp for the recordings, so I did.
